Applications

• R143a can be used as a refrigerant, as an important component of mixed refrigerants, and as a fire extinguishing agent. It is a raw material for vinylidene chloride, an intermediate for resins, and a fumigant for agriculture.

Handling & Storage

Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse, avoid direct sunlight exposure, keep away from fire and heat sources, and store them separately from easy (combustible) fuels and oxidants. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment.

The helmet must be worn with the helmet on the cylinder. The cylinders should be placed flat and the bottles should be in the same direction. They should not cross; the height should not exceed the fence of the vehicle and be secured with triangular wooden mats to prevent rolling. It should be lightly loaded and unloaded during handling to prevent crushing and collision, and prevent damage to accessories such as cylinders and valves.
