PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
R409A is a mixture of refrigerant R22, R124 and R142b, which is a colorless gas at room temperature and a colorless transparent liquid under its own pressure. It is a substitute for R12 and is mainly used in refrigeration systems. R409A is a non-flammable, hydrochlorofluorocarbon-based (HCFCS) refrigerant. It can be used with existing MO mineral oils in many single and tightly coupled systems, reducing the refrigerant required by 10%-25% when the system is modified. Changing a single compressor oil to AB typically removes 50%-80% of the existing MO mineral oil to comply with compressor OEM recommendations and requirements.

R409A Refrigerant steel cylinder is a pressure container. Keep it away from fire, heat and direct exposure to sunlight. It is usually stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. When handling, light loading and unloading should be carried out to prevent cylinder and valve and other accessories from damage.
