R417A, also known as ISCEON® MO59, is an HFC retrofit refrigerant for R22 in direct expansion stationary air conditioning (AC) and medium temperature commercial refrigeration systems.

Applications

R417A is suitable as a “drop-in” retrofit gas for R22.

Handling & Storage

R417A refrigerant cylinder is a pressure vessel, and it is flammable and explosive. It should be kept away from fire, heat source and direct sunlight when stored. It is usually stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. It should be lightly loaded and unloaded during handling to prevent it. Accessories such as cylinders and valves are damaged.
