Refrigerant R22，other names R-22、Freon 22、HCFC-22、Chlorodifluoromethane，Commercial name Freon 22、Genetron 22 ，Chlorodifuoromethane，Chemical Formula CHClF2.

R 22 is an HCFC refrigerant used for residential and commercial air conditioning and for medium- and low-temperature commercial refrigeration applications, including: food service, supermarket display cases, food storage and processing, and transport refrigeration systems.

Handling & Storage

R22 refrigerant cylinder is a pressurized container, which should be stored away from fire, heat source, avoid direct sunshine, and usually stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. When handling, it should be lightly loaded and unloaded to prevent damage to cylinders and valve accessories.
